These daily classes are designed to be an interesting and fun introduction to how geometric art in the Alhambra is made. All levels of artistic ability and experience are welcome. Classes last for 3 - 3.5 hours and drawing and painting. We show how the designs of the Alhambra were created then draw a pattern using traditional techniques. The class gives you a deeper understanding of the art and artisans of the Alhambra. All participants created their own unique souvenir.

We have daily workshops where you learn how to draw and paint one of the incredible designs of the Alhambra using traditional techniques.

These workshops are an interesting and fun introduction to how geometric art is made. All levels of artistic ability and experience are welcome. Classes last for 3 - 3.5 hours and feature enjoyable drawing and painting. We show how the designs of the Alhambra were first created then draw a pattern using traditional techniques. The class gives you a deeper understanding of the art and artisans of the Alhambra. All participants create their own unique souvenir to take home.

Our classes are a fantastic opportunity to learn about the unique cultural heritage of Granada. They are run in our relaxing, beautiful teaching studio in Realejo. We also run longer courses for those who are looking to learn more.

Would highly recommend visiting the Geometric Art Studio when in Nerja! Kate and Mark were so welcoming, fun and passionate about their crafts; their beautiful pieces of work are displayed in the studio too. I did the daily Alhambra class (a steal at €40) and managed to make something lovely—I don't do art normally but found the class particularly accessible considering. It was a combination of art, history, geometry and proper relaxation. Will definitely be visiting again when next in Nerja. Loved my time in the studio!!

Mark was a fantastic teacher and he breaks everything down so well to allow you to create a beautiful piece of art with no prior experience. I loved his class and will definitely be doing more classes if I get the opportunity in the future!

This is a little Alladins cave in Nerja. Beautiful gifts and all sorts of wonders that act as inspiration and tools for creatitivity. I bought beautiful gold paint there today and I look forward to returning for a painting session.

I joined one of the classes this week. Kate and Mark, who run the shop and shared in the tuition process, are an amiable couple and make the whole experience both educational and fun. I was really pleased with the piece I produced (kissing swallows) in the 3 hour session - despite having almost no experience of producing art since achool.
They both have the knack of guiding you just enough so that you are able to complete a finished piece by yourself that you can be proud of.
I'm really pleased with the end result and will definitely try to produce more once I get home.
Some lovely pieces for sale in the shop too.

Mark is a great teacher... he patiently walked us through the process of designing the patterns of azulejos. A fun afternoon making art to bring home a unique souvenir from Granada. Highly recommended!
