I joined one of the classes this week. Kate and Mark, who run the shop and shared in the tuition process, are an amiable couple and make the whole experience both educational and fun. I was really pleased with the piece I produced (kissing swallows) in the 3 hour session - despite having almost no experience of producing art since achool.
They both have the knack of guiding you just enough so that you are able to complete a finished piece by yourself that you can be proud of.
I'm really pleased with the end result and will definitely try to produce more once I get home.

Mark is a great teacher... he patiently walked us through the process of designing the patterns of azulejos. A fun afternoon making art to bring home a unique souvenir from Granada. Highly recommended!

Well-paced instruction on drafting and painting an Islamic tile design. I enjoyed Kate’s clear and encouraging teaching style and appreciated the advance planning and organization. I was new to watercolour painting and was intrigued by the process and effects. An interesting way to spend a few hours. My only suggestion would be to add another half hour to complete the painting without rushing. Thanks for a lovely session, Kate.

Fun time, well instructed, great supplies, finished piece of art to take home. If you are hesitating, don’t. Just book in. You’ll be glad you did.

Had a great time learning the process of creating geometric art of the Alhambra with Mark. Went back the next day to finish up and met Kate. Fun and a great way to spend an afternoon! Highly recommended!

The Geometric Art Studio and the owners, Mark and Kate, provide a unique and one of a kind experience. The ability to quickly learn about geometric art and its influence in places like the Alhambra was amazing enough, but to actually get to create a piece of art was very special. They are great teachers and were so kind and encouraging. If you get a chance go!

Absolutely amazing workshops. I have always been intrigued by the geometric forms and thrilled to have found Kate and Mark, both are great teachers, the studio is a hub of art and craft in the centre of Granada. I am hooked and have signed up for many more classes.
